About Dominique
Hello, I'm Dominique, the Nail Editor. I trained first as a fully qualified beauty therapist, earning my CIDESCO and CIBTAC diplomas along with my VTCT qualifications. But it was nail art that truly captured me. What began as a love of fine detail has grown into my specialism, and, honestly, my favourite part of every single day.
I believe your nails should feel like yours. Every set is designed around you, from a simple, elegant finish to the most intricate hand-painted art, and I bring the same care and attention to detail to both. Just as important, I want your time with me to feel calm and unhurried, never rushed.
I am proud that my work has been recognised across the industry. I was a winner at the Professional Beauty Awards 2024 for Mixed Media Boxed Art, and a Scratch Awards finalist three years running. I also keep my own skills sharp as a certified trainer for Missu, Magpie and Lecente, and I love passing techniques on to other nail professionals through my Academy.
There is something new on the way, too. Because I trained first in beauty therapy, I am bringing those skills back as The Beauty Edit, with lash lifts and tints, brow shaping and waxing, launching soon.
You will find me in my dedicated studio at home in Godmanchester. It is a warm, welcoming space rather than a busy salon, where it is just you and me, and where you can genuinely switch off and relax for a little while.
